UNICEF and Krishnagiri District administration is implementing child friendly village planning project in eight Blocks in association with two prominent NGOs of IVDP and Myrada and the non-profit organization Integrated Village Development Project (IVDP) has been carrying out this program at various phases in the Blocks of Krishnagiri, Bargur, Kaveripattinam, Veppanapalli and Six panchayats of Thally Block since 2005. This CFVP has 18 indicators that aim to promote the well being of women and children by 2007.

 All the Houses already surveyed during the Ist survey had been taken into account for re-assessment, which means door-to-door survey was conducted in all the Households again in each and every villages, during the assessment period held between June-July’07.
