IVDP has been in the forefront in promoting the total well being of poor family hailing in its operational areas. It implements effective multifarious intervention and innovative programs towards achieving bull’s eye. And one of the programs is CFVP, which is being implemented in the blocks of Krishnagiri, Bargur, Thally(Six Panchayats), Kaveripattinam and Veppanapalli.

       In Kaveripattinam Block, the CFVP was launched in June’06 and successfully carried out CFVP program in close association with District Administration, Line departments, VLMC, VVF and community people. It was observed that there is a tremendous change happened in all CFVP indicators between baseline and resurvey.

     The people had changed their attitudes towards Health related issues especially with regard to Hospital delivery, Nutrition, HIV/AIDS etc.,All these transformation have taken place because of constant and concerted effort made by facilitators and VVF.
